There are two VPNs in use at ECE, the UBC VPN and the ECE VPN.
UBC VPN:
The UBC VPN provides access from off-campus to University license servers, as well as ssh.ece.ubc.ca, ssh-linux.ece.ubc.ca, ssh-ubuntu.ece.ubc.ca, and ssh-soc.ece.ubc.ca. This is the only VPN access required for completion of undergraduate course assignments, and all undergraduates have been provided with access to it.
