Students enrolled in ELEC 401 Winter 2025/26 Term 1 are asked to note the following:
Although you have been told that you require access to the ECE VPN, that is not the case.
The X2go server at ssh-soc.ece.ubc.ca can be accessed from the "ubcsecure" wireless network (on-campus) and from the UBC VPN (if you are off-campus).
For information about how to obtain the "Cisco Secure" VPN client and connect to the UBC VPN please see https://it.ubc.ca/services/email-voice-internet/myvpn.
For support with issues involving ubcsecure and the UBC VPN please contact the IT Service Centre Help Desk.
