The ECE Engineering Services and IT Support Teams are investigating the matter. Updates will be posted here.

Some users have reported difficulties operating SolidWorks when configured with the triad network license manager. The issue appears isolated to ECE VPN and ubcprivate wireless pools (.ece,.prof) and non-ECE networks. Consultations with the vendor suggest dynamic port assignments and firewall configuration (network and host-based) as confounders.
