The outage was resolved by the UBC Network Management Centre at ~3:45pm on May 7, 2014.
There was a failure of the UBC core routers, with campus-wide impact. See the UBC IT Bulletin for more information. Symptoms included an inability to access the Internet, e-mail, and network-based storage (e.g., ECE home directories).
