On Sunday 2017-04-03, between 09:00 and 10:00 PDT, UBC IT will be performing a network firewall upgrade affecting the Electrical and Computer Engineering department. During that window, the ECE network will experience a brief outage of less than 10 minutes during the transition.
This upgrade is part of an ongoing initiative to upgrade network infrastructure. Read more about the lifecycle project initiative here: https://it.ubc.ca/projects/network-infrastructure-upgrades
