Undergraduate and MEng students

If you are an undergraduate or MEng student registered in an ECE course, we will automatically create an account for you. Using the Self-Service ECE Account Management tool at https://id.ece.ubc.ca/, you will be able to claim your account by setting your password.

All Others

Please send an email with subject "Request for ECE account" to it@ece.ubc.ca, with the following information:

  • Your full name
  • Department or Organization (if not ECE)
  • Your student or employee number (if you have both, please provide your student number)
  • Name of your supervisor
  • Your preferred username
  • An email address that you can currently be reached at
  • Your affiliation with ECE:
    • One of the following: MASC student, PhD student, Postdoc, Faculty, Staff, Visitor, Other
