At approximately 11:30am today, a MacLeod building-wide power failure disabled access to all core ECE IT services, as well as network access in the MacLeod, Kaiser and AMPEL/Brimacombe buildings. The failure etiology is unknown, but was concurrent to a reported natural gas odour near ICICS and MacLeod, prompting an evacuation of Kaiser, MacLeod and ICICS. Following emergency service and university review, power was restored to MacLeod at approximately 2:00pm.

At approximately 11:30am today, a MacLeod building-wide power failure disabled access to all core ECE IT services, as well as network access in the Kaiser, MacLeod and AMPEL/Brimacombe buildings. The failure etiology is unknown, but was concurrent to a reported natural gas odour near ICICS and MacLeod, prompting an evacuation of Kaiser, MacLeod and ICICS. Following emergency service and university review, power was restored to MacLeod at approximately 2:00pm.
