- Scheduled Power Outage (Jun 9, 2012)
- Electricity in the Kaiser and MacLeod Buildings is off for maintenance. Several ECE services, such as SMTP (outgoing e-mail), SMB (Windows network drives), download, and mirrors, are unavailable. The scheduled outage window is 8 am to 8 pm.
- Database Failure (Apr 10, 2012)
- Several websites that rely on databases were unavailable due to a hardware failure. We have replaced that machine.
- New SSH Servers (Jan 1, 2012)
- Four new SSH servers, running 64-bit Debian 6, have been deployed. The old servers will be retired soon.
- End of POP Service (Aug 26, 2011)
- On Aug 26, 2011, ECE will discontinue the retrieval of email via POP and NFS. If you are still using POP, action is needed on your part...
