Major UBC Student Information Service outage (October 18-19, 2014)

Over the weekend of October 18th and 19th UBC's Student Information System (SIS) will undergo major system maintenance in order to support a new scheduling system and the creation of a system-of-record for teaching assignments and section management.

IMPACT OF OUTAGE

Student, Instructors, Teaching Assistants and Administrators will not be able to carry out processes relying on the affected systems listed below:

  • Student Service Centre (SSC)
  • Faculty Service Centre (FSC)
  • Scheduling and Curriculum Management Centre (SCMC)
  • Student Information System (SISC)
  • Online Admissions Application
  • Degree Navigator
  • SIS API

ePayment and Connect will remain available during this maintenance window

SCHEDULE

We have reserved two time slots for the planned maintenance:

  • Saturday October 18th 1:00pm – 4:00pm PDT
  • Sunday October 19th 1:00pm – 4:00pm PDT
