A number of Windows workstations in the UBC_ECE domain (such as the workstations in undergraduate computer labs) are rejecting logons. Today only, you may need to reboot the workstation before it will recognize your account. (Please also consider the possibility that your ECE account may have been deactivated.)

The problem is that some of the workstations have acquired a faulty DHCP lease. The problem will resolve itself once these leases expire. In the meantime, the simplest solution is to reboot them to force them to acquire a new DHCP lease.
